A pressure tank with a bad bladder is extremely hard
on a well pump and will cause the pump to fail.
The most common symptoms of a bad
pressure tank bladder are: well cycling on and off a lot and
noticeable water pressure changes.
Tap on the top portion of your pressure tank, it should sound hollow.
If it doesn't, the bladder is most likely bad and the tank needs replaced.
It's better to replace one portion of the system than waiting until it
also ruins your pump and you need both!
